Shooting wild mountain landscapes

Looking down on a coire lochan and meandering stream from the summit ridge. Using an 18-50mm lens at 42mm.
A wider shot of the scene with the same lens all the way out at 18mm. Trying out the varying effect of a polarising filter: off (L) and on (R). Not sure which is better though: both interesting in a different way.
Building cloud with heavy showers in the distance and light falling on the upper shores of Loch Lomond. This might be best shot of the day, using a telephoto lens (55-210mm) at 57mm.
A couple of portrait orientation shots of the same scene, one wide-angled and the other telephoto.
The path back down from these hills passes through a stand of old pine forest.
